  • Dean Eigenmann proposes an exponential decay on bug bounties for EIPs, to fix the broken social and economic incentives to wait as long as possible before reporting a bug present in a hardfork.
  • Compound shares its plans for v2: a collateral factor per asset, no need for wrapper ETH and per token governance improvements.
  • Set Protocol announces Strategy Enabled Tokens that buy the dip and sell the rip for ETH.

  • Dark market Alphabay announces support for Ether as a payment option.
  • After working on Mastering Bitcoin, Andreas Antonopoulos realises: "The idea that Bitcoin is stale and that Ethereum will come to the rescue without stumbling on all the same milestones of growth that Bitcoin has overcome is a fiction".

In 2016:

  • BlockCharge is announced, a collaboration betweenRWE and slock.it allowing to charge electric vehicles in Germany via the Ethereum blockchain.
  • ETH dressed to the nines from $11.1 to $10.8, at ₿0.02647.
